About Tania
Tania holds a Law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana (IBERO) in Mexico City, where she graduated with honors.
Between 2023 and 2024, she completed the Economic Competition Diploma Program offered by the International Chamber of Commerce Mexico (ICC), in collaboration with the Law School of Universidad Panamericana and Mexican competition authorities.
Tania’s practice has focused primarily on antitrust, both in proceedings before the relevant regulatory authority and in the analysis and application of competition principles within financial sector regulations. She also actively participates in administrative and constitutional litigation.
Before joining the CYMA team in 2021, she worked for five years at the firm White & Case, S.C., where she was part of the commercial litigation team.
Throughout her professional career, she has been involved in various pro bono matters, advocating for women’s rights, as well as in issues related to anti-corruption, cultural rights, and the right to health.
