About Jorge

Jorge is an attorney graduated from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City and holds a specialization in Amparo Law from the same institution. With over eight years of experience in administrative, tax, and constitutional litigation, he has developed extensive expertise in defending private individuals and entities in legally complex matters.

Throughout his career, he has participated in significant proceedings related to the energy sector, transportation, tax assessments and the pharmaceutical industry, among others. His practice is distinguished by a strategic and technically sound approach, aimed at effectively safeguarding the interests of his clients before both administrative and judicial authorities.

Prior to joining CYMA, he served for five years as an associate at Kuri Breña, Sánchez Ugarte y Aznar in the Tax and Administrative Litigation practice, where he was involved in some of the most high-profile tax cases in the country due to the contingencies at stake. He also participated in international arbitration proceedings representing companies in the oil and gas sector.

Some of the matters in which he has been involved have been decided by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, setting important precedents in key areas for the interpretation of both national and international legal frameworks.
