About Ricardo

Ricardo holds a law degree from Universidad Marista de Mérida, where he graduated with academic distinction. During his time there, he received various national and international awards in International Law and Human Rights competitions. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from New York University, where he focused on public law studies from a comparative perspective.

He is currently a member of Conesa y Moreno Abogados, where he practices in the areas of constitutional, regulatory, and administrative litigation and advisory services. In his practice, he has represented companies in the energy, agricultural, technology, hospitality, and aviation sectors, among others, challenging government actions and regulations through constitutional proceedings. He has also been involved in the design of strategic litigation and the drafting of tax and environmental legislation.

Prior to joining Conesa y Moreno Abogados, he was an associate at Ritch, Mueller y Nicolau, working in the areas of Project Finance, Energy, and Real Estate Law. He participated in some of the most significant transactions in these sectors in the country. As a transactional attorney, he advised domestic and international clients on complex operations in regulated industries and negotiated a variety of contractual arrangements.
